The Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) is accepting applications for the Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarships, designed specifically for African American and Hispanic graduating seniors. The scholarships are for students who plan to pursue college studies in one of the STEM-related fields. Four $5,000 scholarships for two males and two females each will be awarded to two African American and two Hispanic seniors pursuing studies in STEM-related fields in college next fall. Students must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA and be accepted as a full-time student at a 4-year college.

The deadline to apply is May 6, 2022.
