Pharmacy Technology serves as a foundation to a career as a pharmacy technician. Students will be introduced to the roles, responsibilities, and educational requirements for various careers in pharmacology. Students will acquire knowledge in pharmacy regulations, drug research and development, drug classifications, administration routes, dosage forms, and outpatient prescription requirements. Course instruction will also emphasize career ready behaviors in communication, ethics, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and safety skills.
