Overview

This experience is primarily in the African Safari exhibit. What separates this experience from just a regular visit to the zoo is the classroom session students engage in. During this classroom time, students will act as veterinarians, diagnosing x-rays and other symptoms of some of the animals, and other careers that support the work at the zoo. Students will also engage in a scavenger hunt around the exhibit and, time permitting, a bit of free time to explore other exhibits.

Note: This experience is “Outdoor” and includes walking. Please alert your students to wear shoes and appropriate clothing for the forecast.
